The school that George attended was Knight High School in Palmdale. In his sophomore year, he was a member of the JV team but was move to the varsity team after the season had begun. During his junior year, he became the only non-senior starting player on the team. Recruiters noticed him during the summer of 2007 when he competed in AAU tournaments to gain experience.
